Tenth Square Investment

The group's own capital, invested for the long term in businesses the desk understands and has valued itself.

The mandate

Tenth Square Investment is the group's proprietary investing arm, and its mandate is broad: long-term positions in Nepal's listed market, and investments beyond it when an opportunity is understood just as deeply. Positions are taken only after the group's own valuation work is done, and sized by the gap between price and value rather than by what the market is excited about that week.

How the book is run

  • A patient core. The large majority of capital sits in long-term holdings and is expected to do nothing but compound.
  • A small tactical sleeve. A deliberately limited slice works the market's sideways moods — trimming near the top of an established range, accumulating near the bottom — under written rules, not impulses.
  • Cash without apology. When price and value agree, we wait. Holding cash is a position, not a failure.
  • Risk measured, not guessed. Concentration, correlation and drawdown are tracked on the group's own platform.

We do not manage outside money. Every rupee at risk is our own — which is exactly why the discipline holds.
