Open position
- Equity Analyst Trainee or Intern. Kathmandu, on site. One position. Pay is competitive and matched to experience.
Posted 7 September 2026. Open until filled.
What the work is
We value NEPSE-listed companies and publish the appraisal in full: the range a share is worth, the assumptions behind it, and the workings that produced it. None of it sits behind a paywall. That changes how the work has to be done, because anything you write can be checked by anyone who cares to.
You would spend your time in annual reports and quarterly filings, building models from them, and defending the numbers those models produce. Not summarising what other people think. Not writing around a conclusion that was settled before the reading started.
- Read the filings to the end. Including the notes, which is usually where the answer is.
- Build the model from the report. Not from a template somebody handed you.
- Defend the number. Every assumption you use is published beside it, so it has to survive a reader who disagrees.
- Keep the record straight. New filings arrive, and the work is updated rather than left to rot.
A valuation you cannot check is an opinion. We would rather be checked than believed.
What we look for
- Genuine passion for equity analysis and investment
- Proactive go-getter with a strong learning attitude
- Maintains a high level of professional conduct
- Curious and analytical mindset
Prior experience is not required. What matters is that you can read a set of accounts and say plainly what you do not yet understand. We would rather teach the method to someone honest about the gaps than correct the habits of someone who is not.
How to apply
Send your CV to the address below. Before you write, read one of our published valuations and tell us what you would have done differently. Two paragraphs are enough, and they are worth more to us than a covering letter.
